As our Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that every donation is tracked, every Rand is accounted for, and our financial reporting is world-class. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the trust of our donors and partner churches by ensuring that our operations remain sustainable, compliant, and focused on Kingdom impact.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP: Manage the full accounting function, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

DONATION TRACKING: Implement and oversee robust systems for tracking global donations and ensuring they are allocated according to our mission and governance standards.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Ensure full compliance with South African regulations, including SARS, CIPC, and NPO/NGO reporting requirements.

BUDGETARY CONTROL: Work closely with the Executive Director and CTO to monitor departmental budgets, ensuring disciplined cost management as outlined in our pitch deck.

TRANSPARENT REPORTING: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the board and stakeholders, prioritising clarity and accountability.

PAYROLL & OFFICE FINANCE: Manage payroll for the Cape Town head office and oversee financial interactions with local vendors and facilities staff.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management. Experience in the non-profit (NPO) or tech startup sector is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS: A degree in Accounting or Finance (BCom or equivalent). Professional registration with SAICA or SAIPA is a significant advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
